Special Events & Community
Studio D strives to provide new and different events that benefit children. In addition to hosting the most fun birthday parties in town, we are working to provide the Studio D community additional outlets and resources for growth and development. One of the ways in which we accomplish this is through the people and places in our wonderful community who exist to serve young people, so that we may team up to positively influence our children on their life path. Through these collaborations, Studio D is able to host special events and opportunities for children that aren't available anywhere else. Please check back often to see what is in the works.

Dance (Birthday) Parties!
We recently attended a birthday party at Studio D, and as with the classes, there was such a perfect mix between dance, play, music, breaks and Art & Crafts activities. It was so well organized, the 2 hours flew by! The kids were captivated and were begging for more!

Studio D offers exciting dance parties for special occasions like birthdays, special achievements, good grades, or any other reason for positive reinforcement for your child. Here is what you get:
- One hour of dance instruction of any type of dance that we offer
- Additional hour of studio space rental for party activities
- Dance-themed decorations
- Games
We can also provide:

Field Trips
Studio D offers exciting group field trips to our facility for any school class or children's group. Our field trips are designed to provide exposure to dance while educating the kidson the benefits of movement through interactive presentations. We can tailor a field trip to fit any age of kids and size of group. Kids will leave Studio D understanding how to feel good through dancing and other healthy choices.

Parent's Night Out
Studio D offers the chance to give yourself a well-deserved night out while your little one has fun learning new types of dance. Your child will leave happy and ready for bed. Each evening offers:
- 3 Hours of dancing, fun and socializing
- Exploring Hip Hop, Jazz, West African and Creative Movement
- Fun games and Activities
Participation in Parent's Night out is $60 per child for a three hour evening. Currently you can sign up two children for any "Parent's Night Out" for $100.
Studio D is also happy to host any Parent's Night Out for five or more children.

Partnerships
BOULDER JCC
Studio D has partnered with the Boulder JCC to offer preschool and school-age dance classes at the new JCC facility. As partners we strive to make excellent dance training affordable and accessible to all members of our community.
MOXIE-MOMS
Studio D is proud to be partnered with Moxie Moms, Boulder's community of moms which provides member discounts at local businesses. Studio D is pleased to offer Moxie Moms a 15% discount off one child's enrollment per term.
Scholarships & Philanthropy
At Studio D, we believe that the dance education experience should be available to everyone. So we've established annual scholarships which are available for students who cannot afford tuition. These are funded privately and students who are interested should inquire within for more details. In addition to the scholarships, a sliding scale is available for low-income families and is determined on a case-by-case basis. Studio D also offers a WorkDance program which allows older students to help with studio duties or demonstrating in trade for tuition.
